We decided the seagulls here had a bad reputation & maybe we could help them with some positive PR by creating a cuter & friendlier 'model' (that didn't actually pinch your chips!) 
The sketching began...

We made several prototype characters from several different material combinations, until one day 'our' Gully finally introduced itself to us... 
 
All of our Gully friends are completely & individually handmade in Cornwall & influenced by where we live on the Cornish coast.
 
Made with a combination of traditional papier-mâché methods, recycled card & papier-mâché air-dry clays which cover each of our characters, they are then all hand-painted.
 
Each is a piece of arts & craft or Objet  D'art if you want to be fancy, but created to be a little bit of fun & to simply add a smile...
